Anpario plc, the international supplier of natural high performance feed additives to enhance health, growth and sustainability in agriculture and aquaculture has made two new appointments in its technical team.

Dr. Fiona Short is appointed as Technical Manager, who is the main contact for Anpario's organic feeds business, Vitrition. She is responsible for diet formulation to provide balanced diets utilising an extensive range of organic raw material and Vitrition customer support. She also provides technical support and is involved in research trials and new product development across the Anpario's brands.

Previously, a senior research scientist for environmental consultancy, ADAS and a research fellow at Nottingham and Nottingham Trent Universities, Fiona, holds a BSc (Hons) in Animal Science from Newcastle University and a PhD in Poultry Nutrition from Nottingham University.

Elizabeth Norton joined Anpario as Nutritionist, providing technical support across the company's brands.           

She is responsible for product formulations and labelling, providing core technical support to the production and sales teams and providing nutritional advice and diet formulations for customers.

Elizabeth achieved a First Class BSc (Hons) Animal Science at the University of Plymouth and while at University undertook a placement year with the Institute for Animal Health.
