Russia reports more African swine fever cases
Russia has reported more cases of African swine fever (ASF) in wild board in the Rostov region, as recorded by the country's veterinary authority, Rosselkhoznador.
In the Chistyakovskaya hunting and fishing territory, two ASF cases were found and a further two were found in the Pervomayskoy hunting territory in the Kasharshoy region of Rostov. Outbreaks have been recorded in this area before.
Biosecurity controls are being put in place in the districts according to the veterinary authorities.
