Finland Atria: pork prices up on 2008
Finnish food processing group, Atria Finland, will increase its pork prices by next year, CEO Matti Tikkakoski confirms.
The company projects an increased demand for pork in Finland by next year. It expects total sales and market shares to increase by almost 10 percent in 2007.
Tikkakoshi said they would continue to introduce products that consumers perceive as healthy.
Atria Finland develops, manufactures and markets Finnish meat products to retailers, catering enterprises, industry and the export trade. Production plants are located in Nurmo, Kuopio, Kauhajoki, Forssa and Karkkila, Finland.
