USDA says 30,000 tonnes of soybeans sold to China in 2006/07
Private exporters reported to the US Department of Agriculture export sales of 30,000 tonnes of soybeans for delivery to China during the 2006/07 marketing year, the USDA said Monday (Nov 27).
The 2006/07 marketing year for soybeans began Sep 1.
US exporters are required to report to the USDA sales of 100,000 tonnes or more of any commodity made in the same day to the same destination by 3:00 pm EDT (2000 GMT) the next business day, according to the USDA's Foreign Agriculture Service. Any export sales under 100,000 tonnes must be reported on a weekly basis.
