Second International Symposium on Cage Aquaculture in Asia, Zhejiang, China

The Asian Fisheries Society (AFS) together with the Zhejiang University (ZJU), the China Society of Fisheries, the Department of Science and Technology and the Bureau of Ocean and Fisheries, Zhejiang province, China, as co-organisers, are holding the Second International Symposium on Cage Aquaculture in Asia (CAA2). The symposium is scheduled for July 3-8, 2006, in the new Zijingang Campus, ZJU, Hangzhou in Zhejiang, China.

In conjunction with the symposium, CAA2 would be holding an International Trade Exhibition to bring exhibitors and manufacturers together to show-case the latest cage culture innovations, equipment, net cages, feed and feeding technologies among others, to the participants of CAA2 and the key Chinese stakeholders interested in developing modern cage aquaculture. The trade exhibition would be a tremendous opportunity for international companies involved to exhibit their wares,network with buyers and to negotiate business deals with participants in the emerging cage aquaculture sector in Asia, especially in China.
