Soft demand fails to weaken China lysine market

Lysine prices consolidated higher during the week ending November 26.

Lysine producers held up prices of lysine as production was limited amid low availability of corn.

For imported 98.5-percent lysine, transacted stayed in the range of RMB10.50-11/kg.

The upward scope of lysine market will be limited with hog feed producers extremely cautious due to the rampant African swine fever outbreak and a weakening soymeal market.

RMB1=US$0.1441 (Nov 27)
