Tunisia buys 175,000 tonnes feed barley in tender

Tunisia's state-run Office des Cereales Friday (Nov 24) bought 175,000 tonnes of feed barley, trade sources said.

The wheat was purchased at prices ranging mostly from US$235.63 a tonne and US$238.65/tonne with one much lower at US$134.56/tonne, a trader said. At least three of the cargoes will be of Russian origin.

The purchase was 25,000 tonnes higher than the Office des Cereales had stated it would buy.

The feed barley is for shipment from December to the end of March, a trader said.
