Korean imports of frozen yellow croaker down in Oct

In October 2021, import volume of frozen yellow croaker was 283 tonnes, down 11% from 318 tonnes a year earlier.

In dollar terms, the decrease was 44% from US$1.1 million a year earlier to US$610,000 this year.

The cumulative import volume in October was 4,892 tonnes, up 51% from 3,230 tonnes a year earlier. Notably, all imports came from China.

The average import volume in October from 2016 to 2021 was 346 tonnes, down 18% for the 283 tonnes of 2021.
