Diamond V recently named Dr. Ilkyu Yoon - the company's director of ruminant research and technical support -  a recipient of the company's President's Award, which is given to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional, sustained contributions to the company.

Dr. Yoon (pictured, right) has been with Diamond V for more than 23 years and leads the company's dairy research, having spearheaded numerous new product and technical developments during his tenure at the company.

"Ilkyu's leadership in the development of Diamond V's RAMM, or Rumen Activity Modifier Model, has taken the company's technical expertise to a whole new level," said Don McIntyre, director of global research and technical service for Diamond V. "His insights have laid the foundation for NutriTek®, our most advanced dairy technology and have also driven the creation of our Intestinal Activity Modifier Model."

In addition to his technical and research prowess, Dr. Yoon was also honored for his role in helping the company expand globally.

"Ilkyu was also instrumental in helping Diamond V successfully expand our technologies and educate both our teams and industry partners around the world," said Mike Goble, global managing director and president of Diamond V.

"As we began to expand, he packed his bags and left Iowa to physically support those regions - building the business holistically from the ground up and solidifying himself as an integral part of those teams."
