Provimi appoints new key account manager for Middle East and Northern Africa

 

Animal nutritions company, Provimi, has appointed veterinarian Chris Salentijn as its key account manager for the Middle East and Northern Africa region.

The Dutch national will be based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and is responsible for key account management, business development and technical services for the poultry and ruminant sectors.

Salentijin had previously worked as a recruitment consultant for leading veterinary and pharmaceuticals businesses in the Benelux.

In 2008, he joined AB Midden Nederland where, as account manager (recruitment and selection), he initiated and developed a new veterinary recruitment service for the company. Among his key responsibilities, Salentijin oversaw sales, account management and recruitment of veterinarians and nurses for the veterinary sector.

Salentijin graduated in 2012 as a farm animal veterinarian from Utrecht University, the Netherlands. He also attended a honours corporate entrepreneurship master class at the institution's Centre for Entrepreneurship.
