Egypt GASC Buys 360,000 Tons Argentine, French, US Wheat

 

Egypt's General Authority for Supply Commodities, or GASC, had bought 360,000 metric tons of US, French and Argentine wheat on a free on board basis for Jan 1-10 shipment in its tender on Wednesday.

 

A breakdown of the GASC tender given by a GASC official is as follows:

60,000 tons Argentine wheat at $116.30/ton FOB

 

Toepfer

 

2X 60,000-ton cargoes Argentine wheat at $116.30/ton FOB

 

Louis Dreyfus

 

60,000 tons US soft white wheat at $142.90/ton FOB

 

Columbia Grains

 

60,000 tons US soft white wheat at $142.94/ton FOB

 

Nidera

 

60,000 tons French wheat at $146.25/ton FOB
