Avangard to commission feed mills at poultry complexes in Ukraine regions
 
 

 

Avangard Holding has plans to commission feed mills at the Avis poultry complex in Khmelnitsky region in April and the Chornobaivske poultry complex in Kherson region before the end of 2013.

 

The company's quarterly report showed that the Avis poultry complex in Khmelnitsky region it will be commissioned in April 2013 and at the Chornobaivske poultry complex in Kherson region in the second half of 2013.

 

The statement says annual capacity of their feed mills will be 500,000 tonnes of ready products each. Apart from this, each mill has a grain elevator of capacity 56,000 tonnes.

 

The statement says Avis' grain elevator is already in operation. In October 2012, the grain elevator received its first shipments of grain.

 

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Avangard put into operation phase one of the poultry production unit in the village of Skhidne, Bilozirka district, Kherson region, in December 2011.

 

Before, the company planned to build up capacities of the Avis poultry complex in Khmelnitsky region and of the Chornobaivske poultry complex in Kherson region by 67-88% before 2014. At both complexes they planned to finish building full industrial cycle of egg production over this period.

 

The company reckons, with commissioning of the Avis and Chornobaivske poultry complexes total livestock of laying hens at the company units will reach 28.9 million heads and egg production 8.2 billion pieces a year.
