China suspends weekly national corn, soy auctions
China will suspend its weekly national soy and corn auctions from Dec. 1, according to a statement published on the China National Grain and Oils Information Centre's Web site Friday (November 20).
National auctions are held in four provinces in northeastern and northern China, the major corn and soy producing areas.
But corn sales in some local consumption areas will continue, according to the statement.
