Hong Kong to resume poultry imports from Malaysia
Hong Kong's Centre for Food Safety resumed processing applications for poultry meat imports from Malaysia.
Hong Kong imposed the ban in June when a highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 case in a Malaysian poultry farm was confirmed.
The centre decided to resume imports of Malaysian poultry due to Malaysia's control measures in eradicating the bird flu virus.
