Argentina's 2003-04 Wheat Sales Seen At 8.76 Million MT

 

As of Friday, Argentina had sold an estimated 8.76 million metric tons of 2003-04 wheat, the Agriculture Secretariat reported Monday. By this time last year Argentina had sold 6.125 million tons of 2002-03 wheat.

 

However, this data does not include all sales of 2003-04 wheat to Egypt or Sri Lanka, according to Secretariat officials. Instead, the data includes sales of 2004-05 wheat to these two countries.

 

The Secretariat provided the following information for 2003-04 in metric tons by destination.
