Hong Kong approves poultry imports from Russia

Russia's food safety watchdog, Rospotrebnadzor said Hong Kong has approved imports of poultry from all regions in Russia, reported Reuters.

According to a statement from Rospotrebnadzor, 20 Russian poultry producers have been given approval to export poultry to Hong Kong.

This follows increased demand from China for Russian poultry as meat supplies have declined in China following the spread of African swine fever in the country.
