Russian Ustvolmsky launches pig breeding complex
Agricultural holding Ustvolmsky has opened the first US$21.6 million pig breeding complex in Russia's Novgorod region, regional officials report.
Total investment into the complex is reportedly to come in at US$67.6 million. The complex's projected annual capacity is 7,000 tonnes of pork and 62,000 young pigs.
The pig breeding complex is located in the region's Krestetsky district. Ustvolmsky is a part of Pulkovsky group of companies.
