Lysine producers stand firm in China despite cautious demand
 


Lysine prices remained stable during the week ending November 19.


Feed producers hold back lysine purchases while the soymeal market stayed weak. Nonetheless, lysine producers stood firm as robust export demand helped to ease inventory pressure.


Price quotes of 70-percent lysine stayed at RMB5.50-5.60/kg.


Lysine prices are set to remain around current levels.
