Excess availability hold down China methionine prices
Prices of methionine stayed flat during the week ending November 20.
Methionine availability remained plentiful due to the overexpansion of the industry over the past several years. Hence, even as demand improved of late, prices of methionine stayed unchanged as producers and traders attempted to entice buyers.
For liquid methionine, price quotes stayed at RMB18-18.50/kg.
