China's Total Imports of Wheat for First 10 months At 320, 158 MT

According to China Customs Authority, the country's total imports of wheat for the first 10 months of 2003 were 320,158 tons, down by 46% compared to the same period last year.

For the month of October, China imported 11,599 tons of wheat, down by 67% over the same period last year. Of the imported amount, 1,008 tons were from Australia and 10,590 tons from USA.
