Russia's wheat prices rise further on bad weather
 

 

For the sixth consecutive week in the November 9-November 15 period, Russia's wheat prices rose because of concerns bad weather could affect this year's harvest.

 

The average producer gate price of grade three milling wheat increased during the week by RUB125 (US$3.84) to RUB7,950 (US$244) a tonne including valued added tax (VAT). The price of grade four milling wheat rose by RUB100 (US$3.07) to RUB7,475 (US$230) per tonne. The price of grade five feed wheat increased by RUB125 (US$ 3.84) to RUB6,550 (US$201) per tonne.

 

SovEcon also said the average price of milling rye group A, grade 1-2 increased during the week by RUB150 (US$4.61) to RUB5,300 (US$163) per tonne. The price of feed barley rose by RUB75 (US$2.30) to RUB5,950 (US$183) per tonne.

 

The price of wheat flour increased by RUB100 (US$3.07) to RUB11,550 (US$355) per tonne.
