USDA Sold 116,000 MT of Soybeans to China in 04-05

The US Department of Agriculture announced Thursday private export sales of 116,000 metric tons of US soybeans for delivery to China in the 2004-05 marketing year.

The soybean marketing year began Sept. 1.

US exporters are required to report to the USDA sales of 100,000 tons or more of soybeans made in the same day to the same destination by 3 p.m. EST the next business day, according to the USDA's Foreign Agriculture Service. Any export sales under 100,000 tons must be reported on a weekly basis.
