Milk & Beef Cows Infected With Foot-and-Mouth Disease in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand


In Thailand, an outbreak of foot and mouth disease has hit several districts in Prachuap Khiri Khan where hundreds of milk and beef cows were infected with the disease.

Pongsak Chaisit, acting provincial livestock chief, said all but two districts had been declared as outbreak zones.

Livestock officials would vaccinate farmers and animals in all areas to stop the disease spreading further.
