Dutch companies enter into strategic partnership focused on international pig production

Seventeen Dutch companies active in the pig business have signed a strategic partnership agreement to combine strengths and knowledge in international pig production.
For this purpose, the companies have created a brand new global platform known as the Dutch Agribusiness Worldwide. The global platform was developed to make Dutch knowledge and innovation in all aspects of the pig production chain available to the global market.
Two of the founders of this initiative are Mark Schippers, chief executive officer (CEO) of the Schipper Group, and Gudo klein Gebbink, managing director (EMEA) of Royal Agrifirm Group.
"Looking at all the great innovations in the Dutch pig industry that are in full swing and the ones that are coming up, we felt we could do more to share this knowledge with others," said facilitator and coordinator Judith Verbruggen. "By joining forces with all of these partners, we have more than 300 years of experience to serve international partners who want to get their business ready for future challenges.
"As coordinator and objective partner, I am here to connect interested companies with the partners of Dutch Agribusiness Worldwide. I'm happy with the launch of this platform, and look forward to contribute and supporting all partners in this endeavor."
Partners participating in the platform were selected based on three criteria: being globally active, being innovative and working sustainably.
In the near future, the platform will expand its reach by opening an experience center to bring Dutch innovation and technology more rapidly to all interested parties.
