Aviagen and Ross hold seminars for South African customers
 

Aviagen teamed up with Ross Poultry Breeders, the Ross distributor in South Africa, to conduct a series of seminars on management advice and support to customers.

Over 200 representatives from the South African poultry industry attended the events in Pretoria, Cape Town and Natal.

Delegates were presented varied topics, including the influence of female management on hatchability, the importance of good chick start, breeder production from 15 weeks onwards and lighting programmes to maximise broiler performance.

The regional technical manager, Michael Garden said that the roadshows provide the opportunity for the Aviagen team to support local distributors in South Africa and help maximise performance of the Ross product.
