Ukraine association to impose quotas on rapeseed export

The "Ukroliyaprom" association of Ukraine announced that it intends to impose restrictions on export of rapeseed by 2008.

General Director of the Association, Stepan Kapshuk, said that last year, Ukraine produced 1.115 million tonnes of rapeseed and all of it was exported to European countries for biofuel production.

The association predicts rapeseed harvest to reach 2 million tonnes by 2008.
