Adisseo's new methionine facility in Nanjing, China will be completed by the end of November this year.

The construction of the new integrated methionine plant in Nanjing is progressing according to schedule. The construction phase itself is nearly finished after several months of extensive activity on site.

Adisseo is proud of this achievement taking into account the complexity of such a major project and congratulates the team for the level of safety on site.

The start-up is confirmed for second quarter of 2013. It will be progressive in order to start the 30 different units in a smooth way. Project management utmost priority is to have a flawless start-up with a top priority on Safety and Environmental performance.

Both official registration processes are progressing well according to plan with the relevant Chinese authorities and in accordance with the industrial start-up calendar.

Consequently this will lead to a cautious start-up phase and the confirmation of a progressive increase translating into available volumes of production, which will allow following the organic growth of Adisseo key accounts in 2013.
