Australia's Clean Marine's plan for red snapper farm delayed
Plans for the opening of Clean Marine's proposed aquaculture farm is being delayed to difficulties in gaining State Government environment approvals.
The company in Northern Tasmania is looking to develop the country's first land-based closed-loop fish farm to breed 1.2 million fish each year, according to the Launceston Examiner, a local newspaper.
A development application for the George Town Council had been expected to be submitted in July, but will now be delivered within four weeks.
