China's Hangzhou Xiasha Biochemical is World's Largest Vitamin D3 Producer
 

Hangzhou Xiasha Biochemical Tech. Co., Ltd is now reportedly the world's largest vitamin D3 producer following the completion of a RMB200 million plant in the Hangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone.

With the new plant in operations, Hangzhou Xiasha Biochemical has an annual production capacity for 500 tons of crystallized vitamin D3 and 2000 tons of feed-grade Vitamin D3. This has enabled Hangzhou Xiasha Biochemical to break into the previously foreign dominated vitamin D3 industry in China.

This vitamin D3 project is the fruition of a 1996 joint venture between Garden Industrial Trade Group Co., Ltd and the Chinese Academy of Science.

Hangzhou Xiasha Biochemical will market their vitamin D3 product to more than 10 countries in Europe, United States and Southeast Asia.
