China VA: Prices tumble further (week ended Nov 9, 2020)
Export sales were slow due to the coronavirus pandemic while domestic demand remained limited as buyers stayed cautious. With inventory pressure mounting, producers slashed vitamin A prices further of late.
Export prices of VA500 tumbled to US$38.50/kg.
Sales of vitamin A are set to remain weak with prices staying high. Producers will be under pressure to negotiate prices.
