Sweden increases its risk assessment for bird flu following outbreaks in Europe

 
 

The Swedish Board of Agriculture said it has raised its bird flu risk assessment in the country to level 2 following increased bird flu outbreaks across Europe.

 

According to the board, at risk level 2, all poultry must be kept indoors.

 

France said it has put part of the country on high alert after bird flu cases were reporting in Europe, while Denmark increased its bird flu risk level to high following outbreaks in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.
