Minh Phu Seafood Corporation posts US$191.56-million export revenues

Minh Phu Seafood Corporation (MPC) raked in US$191.56 million from exports from January to October of this year, up 51.09% from the same period last year.

Vietnam's top shrimp exporter exported over 18,006 tonnes of shrimp during the period, up 40.77% on year, the firm said.

US remained MPC's biggest importer, with revenues of US$87.44 million between January and October, followed by Japan with US$25.81 million, South Korea with US$24.37 million, EU with US$24.49 million, and Canada with US$18.03 million.

In 2010, the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange-listed firm targets export revenues of US$200 million from selling 21,400 tonnes of shrimp, and net profit of VND343.425 billion (US$0.0176 billion) on net revenues of VND3.9 trillion (US$0.0002 trillion).
