Philippines ends ban on pigs, pork from Belgium

The Philippines has abrogated a ban on the import of domestic pigs, pork and pig semen from Belgium.

The development came after Belgium's self-declared African swine fever free status.

The order to end the ban recognises that ASF in Belgium has affected only wild boars, with the last case occurring in March this year.
