Veramaris appoints sustainability communications specialist in key global role

Veramaris has signalled further expansion by appointing Nathalie Gross as its new senior global communications manager.

Gross will take responsibility for communications for both Veramaris' aquaculture business and the new Veramaris® Pets product which was launched in the summer.

With 12 years of experience in integrated communications and government relations, Gross brings a range of experience to the role. This includes media relations, change communications, public affairs/stakeholder management and integrated communications strategy in the areas of sustainability, climate change and energy and social impact.

Most recently, she was with Cargill Cocoa & Chocolate where she led global business sustainability communications.

"Our world faces a multitude of environmental challenges which require viable solutions. I am energised to be joining a purpose driven team that is bringing ground-breaking innovation to the aquaculture industry and marine sustainability overall," said Gross.

She will report to global marketing and communications director Øyvind Ihle. Speaking about the appointment, Ihle said: "We are delighted to have Nathalie on board. It is a really exciting time for Veramaris and her depth of knowledge and expertise will bring additional strength to the team."
