Bunge North America states acquisition of Morristown Grain

Bunge North America, part of US agribusiness and food specialist Bunge Limited, said yesterday it had taken over local Morristown Grain Co in a move to boost its grain and oilseed facilities.

Morristown Grain's facilities, with a storage capacity of above six million bushels, are expected to back up the operations of Bunge's soy plant in Morristown.

No financial details were disclosed. Morristown Grain employs around 20 people.
