The platform recognises leaders who are combining profit and purpose to help achieve the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The inaugural MB100 leaders were curated through a rigorous nomination process, led by an expert panel of 12 judges. The platform received over 500 peer nominations, from more than 50 countries, with each one scored across four key areas: leadership, innovation, scope and durability.

Sustainability has been a guiding star throughout my entire career, and I feel privileged to work for a company that wants to make a difference. This is yet another thumbs up to our sustainable solutions based on the power of good bacteria," said Meisling.

The 100 business leaders represent 40 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, India, Nigeria, Indonesia, Germany, Switzerland, Ghana and Brazil. Industries that dominate the list include technology, retail, energy, education, waste management, food and beverage and agriculture.
