New agriculture and aquaculture technology solutions on display at Vietnam Growtech

The event ending November 11, 2019 features 250 booths showcasing more than 5,000 agriculture and aquaculture technologies and equipment, reported Viet Nam News.

Participants at the event in Ha Noi International Exhibition Centre include Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, India, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, France, Italy, Chile, Spain and Portugal.

Trần Văn Tùng, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology said the international exhibition is a trading space for innovative machinery and technologies in agriculture and aquaculture sectors, to promote sustainability and improve agriculture production.

He added that the event is a platform to elevate trade between local and global businesses, facilitating increased production and consumption of local products as well as moving towards sustainable expansion for the agriculture and aquaculture industries. Famers will also gain access to new technologies that can be applied to their industry.

International agriculture and aquaculture producers and traders will be able to connect with representatives from over 300 agricultural cooperatives, 1,000 farmers and 500 national farm owners, who are expected to attend the event.
