CBH opens 2009-10 harvest pools

CBH Grain has opened its 2009-10 harvest pools and FOB estimated pool returns for wheat and barley further extending its product offerings to Australian grain growers.

While the harvest Pool for wheat will once again be offered to South Australian growers, for the first time, they can also access the CBH grain harvest pool for barley.

The harvest pool for wheat will also be open to Victorian growers for this year.

CBH Grain's Manager Eastern Australia, Chris Ayers said CBH Grain has extended its product offerings in Eastern Australia due to the strong demand from growers.

The harvest pool for wheat was well supported by growers last harvest and it is currently one of the best performing pools for the 2008-09 season, he said. 

Ayers said the FOB estimated pool return (EPR) for APW1 wheat delivered to CBH Grain's harvest pool for wheat is currently A$254 per tonne and based on GA1 grade, the EPR for CBH Grain's harvest pool for barley is A$215 per tonne.
