Short supply underpins China calcium phosphate prices

Prices were higher during the period in review.

Limited supplies lent support to calcium phosphate market during the period in review together with stable demands while feed millers continued to stockpile inventories.

Transacted prices of calcium phosphate in Sichuan were in the range of RMB1,750-1,850/kg.

Livestock prices have been weak over past weeks. Feed millers are likely to reduce purchases of calcium phosphate to be on the safe side.
