Ukraine harvested 5.82 million tonnes corn to Nov 2

Ukraine harvested 5.82 million tonnes of corn to Nov 2 on 1.38 million hectares, or 80 percent of the total area to be harvested, the agriculture ministry said Thursday.

The average yield to date was 4.2 tonnes a hectare.

On the same date last year, 5.56 million tonnes was harvested on 1.41 million hectares with the average yield of 3.94 tonnes a hectare.
