Global Aquaculture Alliance promotes three members of BAP market development team
The Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) has announced on November 2 that it has promoted three individuals on its Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) market development team.
Molly Jacques has been promoted to BAP director of market development operations. Previously, Jacques acted as BAP supply chain transparency manager. She has held multiple positions on the BAP market development team since joining GAA as business development manager for North America in 2011.
Chris Keller has been promoted to BAP vice-president of market development for the Americas. Previously, Keller acted as BAP director of market development for North America. Keller joined GAA as BAP market development manager-retail for North America in 2015. Keller came to GAA with more than 20 years of retail experience, most notably with Walmart.
Steve Hart was promoted to VP of market development for Asia, Oceania, United Kingdom and European Union. Previously, Hart was VP of market development for Asia. Hart joined GAA as VP of education and outreach in 2015. He came from the Soy Aquaculture Alliance where he had served as executive director since 2011.
Jacques, Keller and Hart effectively fill the role left by Chris Trosin, BAP senior VP of business development, who departed the organisation in September to pursue a new endeavor as owner of Metro Lobster & Seafood, a Rhode Island, US-based wholesaler and retailer. They all report to GAA CEO Wally Stevens.
"We are delighted to be able to promote from within our organisation these three incredibly talented individuals," said Stevens. "Their experiences both within GAA and prior to joining us combined with their passion for our mission makes us proud to have them join our senior leadership team."
