USDA Says 180,000 MT of Soybeans Sold to China in 2004-05
Private exporters reported to the US Department of Agriculture export sales of 180,000 metric tons of soybeans for delivery to China during the 2004-05 marketing year, the USDA said Tuesday.
The 2004-05 marketing year for soybeans began Sept. 1.
US exporters are required to report to the USDA sales of 100,000 tons or more of any commodity made in the same day to the same destination by 1500 ET (2000 GMT) the next business day, according to the USDA's Foreign Agriculture Service. Any export sales under 100,000 tons must be reported on a weekly basis.
