Panama's pig slaughter rises 2.4% between January and September 2020


 

Panama's pig slaughter has increased by 2.4% between January and September this year, compared to the same period in 2019.

 

The country has slaughtered 404,793 pigs (202,970 males and 201,823 females) in the period, according to data published by the National Statistics and Census Institute (INEC).

 

In the same period last year, 395,322 pigs were slaughtered.
