China lysine exports up in September
China's lysine exports in September reached 17,571.5 tonnes, up 2,717 tonnes from August.
For the period from January to September 2006, China's lysine exports totalled 99,897 tonnes worth about US$88.09 million.
Exports to European countries exceeded 8,000 tonnes to reach a new historical high in September, while more than 2,000 tonnes were shipped to North American and South American countries. Shipments to South-east Asian countries were almost unchanged from August.
