Middle East's Largest Poultry Plant Al-Watania Poultry Extended Agreement With Le Gulf Meridien in Saudi Arabia

Al-Watania Poultry, the largest poultry plant in the Middle East and the third largest of its kind in the world, has extended its wholesale agreement with Le Gulf Meridien in Saudi Arabia's Al Khobar for one full year.

Le Gulf Meridien was one of the first hotels in Saudi Arabia to purchase Al-Watania products in bulk quantities. Today, Al-Watania supplies premium products to more than 40 prestigious hotels in the Kingdom.

Khaled Al Rajhi, General Manager of Al-Watania Poultry, said: 'We are delighted that Le Meridien has chosen to renew its contract with us for the third consecutive year. The hotel sector stands out as one of the region's main procurers of poultry products in bulk quantities. Signing with Le Meridien for an additional 12 months complements our ongoing efforts to create stronger associations with the best hotels in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf.'

He added, "The agreement speaks volumes about consumer confidence in our products and brand. Al-Watania is a local company driven by local values and ethics, and this commitment is evident in everything we do at Al-Watania."

Al Rajhi concludes by saying, "We feed our chickens natural feed and make sure that they are slaughtered in accordance with Sharia'a laws, and we ensure our production facilities do not pose any unnecessary harm to the environment."

In addition to frozen and chilled chicken in various weights, Al-Watania offers a wide variety of chicken products and derivatives such as table eggs, chicken burgers, chicken franks, breaded chicken breasts, mince and nuggets.
