According to DairyCo market analysts, China's milk powder imports had plunged significantly from 25,600 tons last September to 9,400 tons this year.

The downward trend begins after a record buying this January, and due to high stockpiling, DairyCo expressed doubts that the market will experience the typical seasonal increase in the final quarter.

Overall, whole and skimmed milk powder imports were 56% and 35% higher from January to September last year.
