Australia sees weakest growth for milk output in September

Australia has produced 0.3% more milk in September 2012 than in 2011, the weakest production growth since the start of the 2012/2013 season in July.

Total milk output was 931.7 million litres compared with 929.2 million litres in the same month a year ago. Dairy Australia data, however, puts cumulative output 2.1% ahead of 2011/12, at 2 362.7 million litres.
