Indian, Mauritian seafood exporters to increase cooperation
Indian and Mauritian seafood exporters recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), to allow increased cooperation in fishing and seafood processing.
Mauritian Prime Minister Naveenchandra Ramgoolam oversaw the signing at India's Marine Products Export Development Authority's (MPEDA) headquarters.
Prime Minister Ramgoolam also had discussions with MPEDA chairman G. Mohankumar and Indian exporters during his visit.
In addition, he encouraged Indian companies to work with private Mauritian companies in the areas of value addition and processing.
