Lallemand Animal Nutrition appoints new business manager for Germany

Lallemand Animal Nutrition appointed Dr Christian Scheidemann as country business manager to manage and drive Lallemand Animal Nutrition's direct business in Germany. His appointment took effect last October 1.

An agriculture engineer by education, Scheidemann has got many years of successful sales and business management experience in the feed additives sector, particularly in yeast fermentation products, organic trace elements and silage additives. After graduating from school where his main topic was feed preservation and dairy nutrition, Scheidemann managed the Landesarbeitskreis Fütterung Baden-Württemberg e.V. He did his PhD thesis in dairy nutrition and was appointed as scientific assistant at the institute of animal nutrition, Hohenheim University.

Dr Yannig Le Treut, general manager for Lallemand Animal Nutrition, said of Scheidemann's appointment: "I am very pleased to welcome Christian on board.
