Impextraco signs up new distributor in Thailand

Thailand's DKSH (Diethelm Keller SiberHegner) has undertaken the distribution of Impextraco's Power-Protexion Range for Thailand.

 

DKSH is a leading Marketing, Services and Distribution Group in Asia focusing on sourcing, marketing, logistics and distribution. Founded and deeply rooted in Asia, DKSH successfully bridges complex markets within and between Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas.

 

Total feed production in Thailand is estimated to be around 12.7 million tonnes for 2007. Pig population is around 11.5 million heads and the consumption of pig meat is 13.8 kg per capita and per year.

 

About 780 million broilers are produced per year, with a local consumption of roughly 15 kg per person per year. Another important production is duck meat, with 50 million birds produced in 2007. Thailand exports about 300,000 tonnes of cooked and frozen broiler meat, mostly to Europe and Japan.

 

Established since 1906, and with a staff of 9,000 people, DKSH is the leading distribution company in the Kingdom of Thailand. Its business is divided into different units. The Power-Protexion Range is now part of the business unit Animal Care Industry. The agreement was recently signed in Bangkok and a training on the product range was organized at the same time. The partnership will be officially launched with a series of seminars next month.
